Bristol based electronic producer and graphic designer Ed Bidgood creates music under the edapollo moniker. His sound varies from atmospheric downtempo to more intricate beat-driven sounds, keeping an underlying focus on organic elements and a human feel in his production. His rhythm focused style and unique blend of instrumentation offer a new take on the downtempo and lounge genres.
The UK artist now brings us his latest track with “Wildflower”, the first single from his forthcoming album, Blue Spring which is out on 23rd September via Opine. The new track takes the listener on a nature-inspired trip filled with euphoric energy, infectious melodies and strong drum grooves, whetting the appetite for the full album.Â
Commenting on the new release, the producer offers, “I’ve used analog synthesisers, guitars, field recordings and both live and sampled percussion to create this layered piece of melodic downtempo house. For me, ‘Wildflower’ symbolises coming through a tough period, holding onto memories of good times and emerging -blossoming – into a new era.”
