Parisian electronic music producer Pelzman creates music that is both introspective and energetic. His sound invites the listener to organic abstract textures that spark the imagination via emotional melodies and catchy vocal elements intending to make you let go and dance.
The main inspiration for his sound comes from the French Touch movement with artists like The Blaze, Thylacine, or Rone but he also blends overseas sonorities in his productions with inspirations from Africa and the Middle East.
The artist first became curious about creating electronic music around the age of 16 and self-taught himself music production, mostly driven by his own intuition.
B the age of 17, he’d signed his first deal with his friend and co-produced tracks that accumulated more than a million streams before going on to start the solo project Pelzman in 2017 with a debut EP. In 2020 he returned with a new EP, Pause, created during his stay at a music production school in Denmark and the isolation during the corona-virus period.
Now the French producer brings us his latest release with the track “Hokaida”, a highly dramatic and emotional piece, supported by an ethnic vocal sample from Bulgaria that is processed over a UK styled drum break.
The track, lifted from the new Symbiosis EP, released via the iM Electronica label, the new work proves perfect for many different contexts; solo immersion, festival ambiance or even a party starter.
