Tutara Peak is the solo alias of British producer and songwriter, Harvey Carter. Launched in 2021 with a release on Brainfeeder and remixes for JPL and Hybrid, Tansuri is Tutara Peak’s debut EP and features collaborations with Mercury Prize nominated singer/songwriter, Lou Rhodes and Dutch bitbird signee, Zes.
Mixed alongside Dan Austin, the EP focuses on the concept of time, further expanding upon this theme in September with the release of a companion film produced by Danish director, Daniel Liversage.
The debut EP follows two singles supported by BBC London and Radio 6 Music, and features the focus single, “Light Fills the Room”. Linking with Dutch artist Zes, Tutara Peak delivers an uplifting indie electronic piece full of glitching percussive energy, a piquant mix of instrumentation, all wrapped up in exquisite production.
Rounding off 2021, Tutara Peak will support UK band Hybrid for shows in London and Manchester.
