North Carolina native Ryan Lindberg creates music under the Koresma alias. The artist crafts a blend of chilled electro-acoustic music centred around a strong drum groove. Living in the mountains of Asheville, he draws inspiration from landscapes and their influence on sounds. The producer is currently working on a four part album based on the theme of a compass.
This time round he brings us his new track “Dead Ends”, released via Far Away Coast Records. The new track is a chill, yet dance oriented single from the downtempo producer. The tune features a strong vocal from Emma Sameth, garage style drums, and a bed of lush synthesiser and guitar textures, with the song name sticking after Emma powerfully sang a lyric in the session.Â
The track started pre-pandemic at session curated by Ultra Music. Naturally drawing some inspiration from the dance oriented label/festival, the song took on an electronic dance feel. Only having a laptop and an idea started the night before, the studio session provided a final record vocal, Juno 60 bass, and Prophet 6 melodies.Â
Lyrically the song was inspired by relationships and feeling like there is no way out. The production aimed to amplify that feeling with moments of silence and an optimistic ending.
