Kirill Valdman, known by his alias Valdman, is a Moscow-based musician, singer, and producer who makes melodic electronic music with emotional vocals and ear-catching live piano. Following on from the single “Desire” released earlier this year, he brings us latest track “If I Could”, linking with artist Iva.
The new release starts off with thoughtful piano to set a sombre mood, but is soon joined by upright, live rousing drums that have a real skip and swing. Blasts of textured bass and soulful vocals flesh it out and make it a heartfelt track that brings a different kind of energy.
There is real artistry to the groove and arrangement that makes Valdman a standout producer at the moment which truly rings through on his latest breakbeat electronica tune.
