finejade is Helang‘s lighter alias that offers an expressive, emotional, and experimental contrast to its original darker house and techno roots. It’s where she creates to represent thought provoking ideas and showcase the vulnerabilities of her life. Rich melodies combined with an enigmatic aesthetic and reminiscent vocals will leave the listeners feeling enchanted and addicted.
The artist’s mission is to create music through experiences and experiences through music. She continues to explore her creativity potential by utilising her unwavering passion for singing, song-writing, and producing.
Under her new alias, finejade brings us the debut single “Emotionally Iconic”, a smoky and pulsing downtempo electronic track full of atmosphere to create an ominous sonic exploration. A marching beat slowly punches the rhythm backed by a thumping bass line below subdued and ethereal vocal lines.
It creates a euphoric and empowering fervour as a listening experience. The dark yet soulful melodies are here to make you feel, get lost in the music and take you on a journey.
