Sydney-based songwriter Wesley Stormer creates feel-good upbeat music under the Sun Affair moniker. The Australian artist prides himself on catchy hooks and lyrical writing straight from the heart, weaving a warm and nostalgic feel of 70’s music into his sound.
After his debut release, 2020’s eponymous single featuring vocalist Rohan Iyer, the artist has released three more tracks which form his recent EP First Sign Of Life which also sees Sun Affair link with artists Blake Dantier and Lars Parto on “Waiting For An Answer” and “Lend Myself” respectively.
Now he brings us the final single, and closing track of the EP, “After All This Time”, again circling back with Rohan Iyer to create a delightful funk sound dripping in good vibes and sunshine.
The track was written a few years ago but it wasn’t until this past year that Wesley with the help of his producer Tim Coggins were able to bring it to life. Grooving rhythms and a superb arrangement of brass and piano pair perfectly with Iyer’s velvety vocal delivery on an offering that’s as catchy as it is charming.
