The NGHBRS drops new track

LA-based artist Ryan Venezia cut his teeth as a DJ and producer that saw him tour extensively and secure residencies. More recently he’s been releasing his original music under the alias The NGHBRS, progressing to a dynamic and rounded talent that writes, performs and produces all of his own work.

Off the back of dropping the double-sided single “Better Off” he now brings us a taste of his upcoming debut EP Dear. Lifted from the forthcoming EP is the new track “Important”, an emotive song about the realisation of ones own importance, or lack thereof, to another in a relationship.

Offering a soundtrack to that turning point moment, The NGHBRS opens up and pours his vulnerability into “Important” which offers an intimate beat-driven electronic pop piece. Once again, the artist displays his multi-talented musical range by taking the track from the writing stage all the way through recording, mixing and mastering entirely by himself in his home studio set up, instilling a deep sense of authenticity into his sound.

Commenting on the ethos behind his work, he offers, “I’m a very big believer of how strong our sub conscious really is. When I sit down to write the way I feel and most of what I write about comes out naturally. It just clicks.”
