Dubai-based producer Super Drift creates a range of electronic music from EDM to tropical house all wrapped up in 80’s synth pop inspirations. Having started to produce under the Super Drift moniker just over a year ago, he’s at the very beginning of this exciting new musical journey.
With the artist’s first track featuring vocals, he’s enlisted New York singer Maisie May to collaborate on his latest single “La Mer”. Inspired by a famous beach area in Dubai, called La Mer, the track offers a shimmery summer beach sound with Maisie then gave her own interpretation through her lyrics, recorded across the world on the East Coast of the USA.
Upbeat grooving beats pair with fluttering synths on Super Drift’s first foray into the vocal-based side of music, creating a grooving modern synth pop jam that shows what he’s capable of as a producer and as a composer of infectiously catchy music.
