On a mission to redefine pop music as we know it, Las Vegas-based artist Blake Wisner draws influence from the likes of Anderson Paak, Daniel Caesar and Mac Miller when creating his own electronic pop sound. With a blend of catchy melodic writing and alternative R&B hooks he crafts grooving modern music with bags of commercial appeal.
Having started his music at just three years old when he began piano lessons, he went on to fall in love with writing poems in high school, adding extra lyrical flair to his sonic creativity. Making his official introduction last year with his debut single “OTW”, he set the tone of his ambitions, offering an infectious hook-driven style full of snapping beats and electronic synth work.
Now he returns with the follow up to his debut, with the brand new single titled “Moodlighting”. The track throws down a laid back rhythmic vibe full of colourful electronic contrasts that provide soaring atmospheric touches.
Proving once again to be an artist to watch this year and beyond, his exceptional pop song crafting skills are carried by his soulful vocal work and flawless production skills on a worthy sophomore release.
