Mole Machine is an alternative electronic music project created by Jeremy Alcaraz, who’s released two EPs so far with Ground Level in 2015 and Alpha Human in November 2017. The latter of which was the first part of Mole Machine’s first album which was completed in September 2018 by Beta monster. With Alpha Human, Jeremy defined his style with a combination of powerful rhythms and haunting melodies made with synths and home recorded samples.
Originally from France, Jeremy is an autodidact producer who spent years in recording studios and on European roads with his Post-rock and pop bands as a multi-instrumentalist. Having always flirted with electronic music, he really begun to express himself through it in 2015 when he immigrated in Montreal and start the Mole Machine project.
The producer also incorporates a heavy use of visualisations to pair with his sound. Video editor by profession, Jeremy Alcaraz is supported on stage by images he has created and edited. These surreal images build a strong narrative plot showing the cross destiny of three characters held captive by cone head people.
New images are added to the old ones for each new performance making it unique. A VJ alters the editing through visual effects that change the meaning of the movie for every show.
This time round he brings us his latest offering with the track “By A Deepfaked Power”, a reaching electronic journey, rhythmically driven by crunching beats, buzzing synth work and spliced vocal samples.
