Japanese audio-visual artist Satoshi Kanno brings us his second single “Elastic” ahead of the release of his upcoming MONOC EP, via ADSR Collective. The Tokyo based programmer has also paired his track with a video experience to reflect the sound with a visual world.
“Elastic” explores a deeper look at the themes of connectivity, metamorphosis and machines. Commenting on the track, the artist offers, “the track Elastic is about facing yourself and yet transforming into something new”.
The track takes the listener through a cinematic evolution as suspenseful percussion makes way for widescreen synths and engaging arpeggiation.
