Otm Shank is back, he’s ready and, this time, it’s definitely personal…
The alter ego of British electronic music producer and owner of the Los Angeles-based Pinkturban record label, Rik Dobson, is now ready to reveal himself in his debut full-length10 track album, Who is Otm Shank?
Lifted from the upcoming album is the track “Dirt”. A big and bouncy analogue house track which showcases the artist’s production panache as well as his penchant for crafting deep rhythmic soundscapes.
His Indian inspirations are apparent in his tabala-heavy percussive work, driving the bedrock of his sound and featured throughout the album. On “Dirt”, his punching rhythms are paired with playful bassline grooves and a warbling synthesiser arrangement.
