Hailing from Denver, Colorado, indie rock outfit Davany craft meaningful and emotive sonic worlds that draw comparison to the likes of King of Leon, The Killers, Gorillaz, Portishead, and Broken Social Scene.
Following on from the release of “Sniffles” comes their new single “Keep”. A slow burning piece, dripping in aching affection. A delicate arrangement allows a burning vocal delivery to soar, offering a transportive and reflective experience cultivating in a triumphant crescendo of chorus.
Commenting on the track, songwriter Jon Arckey says it’s about “An affair. To put it simply, ‘Keep’ is about an affair that took place back in my late teens and early twenties. A clash of worlds took place and I’m still, at times, drawn back to it by its tide, back to that unstoppable love.”
