DAYMARK was formed by 2 musicians and producers from the electro, pop and film music scene in Paris. Together they create a certain kind of space music reinforced by dense electronic sounds. The result could be labelled as “post-pop” served by a dreamy and surrealistic imagery.
Following the release of their first EP DAYMARK in 2017, and several concerts, the duo unveiled two singles in 2018, “Massive” and “Looking Above” – as well as a live version of this last track shot at Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris.
The duo then released Phare, their second EP on June 2019 thus continuing their journey developing an electro and soaring music with pop influences.
Now the pair return with a new track, titled “Daydreams”, blending distant vocals, dreamy textures, cinematic strings and a punchy electronic beat. It slowly evolves as a hypnotic arp synth leads to an epic final drop.
Drawing on their influences of Bonobo, Nils Frahm, Woodkid, M83 and Moderat, DAYMARK once again deliver their deeply atmospheric and fluttering electronic sound.
Accompanying the track comes the visual foray of a cinematic live performance directed by Serginski perfectly capturing the chilling energy of the sound.
