Nashville based producer and singer-songwriter Sly Boy‘s music deals with the reckoning of faith, sin, self, and growing up. He’s currently gearing up to drop his second record, titled Jibō Complex, following his 2019 debut Is This What You Wanted To See?
Having just performed a first live show in Nashville, now the American alternative dark pop outfit brings us the new single “Namesake”. The single is an infectious electro pop track that deals specifically with his struggles with faith.
Commenting on the track, he offers, “Namesake is me feeling like I’ve strayed so far from the values of my own faith that I no longer fall under the definition of a Christian.”
