Parra for Cuva, a Berlin-based electronic music producer, has carved a unique position as an artist, who brought a truly original sound to electronic music by mixing emotional dance floor experimentations with acoustic and ethnic soundscapes.
Now the German artist brings us his latest release with the new track “Her Entrance”, the third single released from Juno. It’s also the album’s aptly named opener – “Her Entrance” feels indeed like an entryway into the world, in all its different colours, cultures and creeds.
The track’s sound world is filled with a diversity of analogue instruments that weave themselves to an upbeat house and trance-inspired groove. At the heart of the tune is a recording of an Indian flute player Parra for Cuva met in a remote village in the desert of Rajasthan. Its wafting melody takes listeners on a meditative and dreamy journey with subtle electronic twists punctuating and accelerating the hypnotic stream.
