Driven by electronic-based production and live guitar and synthesizer instrumentation, the music of Catch the Rise creates a unique atmospheric space for the listener to have an experience – to reflect, to be energised or to simply escape. Drifting between the boundaries of indie, downtempo, post rock and electronica, the producer released his debut EP, Trust, in the summer of 2020 and was listed by music publication Arctic Drones as a “Top-10 Indie Electronic” Album of the year.Â
Currently releasing music with High Vibe Records based in Nevada City, CA, he now brings us his latest release with the track “Flicker”. Commenting on the track, he offers, “This song represents moments that are so combustible and intense they cannot be sustained but for just a brief flicker in time.”
Adding, “It could be any number of experiences, from one of intimacy with another person, to being under the influence of a powerful substance, or even the span of a lifetime for someone as momentous as Kurt Cobain or Jimi Hendrix. This is a reminder that things move fast, so savour these moments when you are in them, however briefly.”
With his latest track, the American producer delivers more of his beat driven sound, blending elements of Trip-Hop, Downtempo, Indietronica to create a deep and uplifting sonic journey.
