The Lunar Keys are 4 anxious types from the suburbs of London with too many tunes and nervous energy trapped in their psyches not to be in this band. Formed in late summer 2019, the band perfected its line up in February 2020 and focused the rest of that unprecedented year on writing and recording, amalgamating an album’s worth of material – yet to be unleashed.
With their single releases to date, the band has been featured on BBC Introducing and longlisted for Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent 2020. On releasing their last single “Silent Ricochet” the Lunar Keys pledged to have a tree planted for each airplay the track received and are happily responsible for the arrival of 400 new trees and counting…
Now the outfit returns with their brand new single, “Stop This”, a heartfelt indie pop outing that lays down their penchant for crafting catchy music wrapped up in an uplifting sound.
Produced by The Lunar Keys and Simon Wiley and mastered by John Davis (The Killers, U2, Royal Blood),
the song charts the darker side of human emotions, the fact that we’re not always in the driving seat when
it comes to our thoughts and feelings. It’s a shout out to all those affected and a call to arms to confront our challenges; How do I Stop This? Now that I got this. How do I block this? I gotta find a way to block these feelings out. To celebrate the release, the band will also give their first post lockdowns live appearance
