Swiss musician Tina Zürcher goes by the name Sibuna when it comes to her catchy brand of indie pop songs. Influenced by artists such as Katy Perry and Blanks, she began making her own original music for a school project in 2018, which saw the then fifteen year old singer release her debut single “Can’t Escape”.
Pouring every ounce of emotion she can into her sound, she strives to make music that is not only beautiful but can convey memories and dreams through a sense of artistic connectedness. “When people see my work, I hope they have this experience where they can take a break from their problems and be themselves in that bubble,” she shares.
Finding more success as she goes, her recent single “drugs” hit over 100,000 streams. In celebration of hitting that new milestone she’s released another new track, with the single “lost”. A bedroom indie pop song, “lost” talks about how you can’t get over a person after a break-up and you get the feelings of being lost and confused. You still want to be with them but you also know it’s not good for you.
Offering the very best of modern catchy pop style, Sibuna delivers an infectiously catchy jam that’s rhythmically playful whilst dripping with honest and emotive writing.
