Indie Rock from Iuliano

Born in Italy, artist Iuliano discovered music at a young age, influenced by his grandfather who played the piano. Wanting to further pursue his passion, he went on to study at Berklee College of Music, giving him the skills to become a music producer which took him all over the world. After a four-year experience in Malaysia, he chose to launch his solo career and release his own music.

In 2018 he released his debut EP, Hidden Roots, introducing the world to his unique style of melodic indie rock. With his music, intimate vocals and cryptic lyrics float above an orchestral palette; electric and nylon string guitars counterbalance complex harmonies and spectral electronica to create a truly original sound.

Gaining recognition from the start, he was awarded as best producer for the EP at the Independent Music Awards in 2018 for the category “Folk singer-songwriter” by a jury led by Tom Waits, Todd Rundgren, Sananda Maitreya, Robert Smith, and many other figures of the music business.

Now, based in Bangkok, Thailand, Iuliano brings us his latest work with the single “On The Radio”, ahead of the release of his upcoming sophomore EP titled De-Algorithm. The new single is a progressive song filled with the artists piquant melodic constructions and instrumentation. Brimming with intricate vocal arrangements, with “On The Radio”, Iuliano delivers a spaced-out indie rock piece that confirms his ability of creating captivating and unique music.

Commenting on the new track, he shares, “In fact, On the radio is one of the first songs I’ve written, but I was unsure if it would work on my voice, so I discarded it from the first EP, but I had it in my ears all the time. Therefore, I released it as part of the new EP De-algorithm.”
