Billy Cadden is a New York artist who writes catchy, propulsive odes to the fuzzy fringes between relationship binaries. Initially finding success as a drummer of major label rock outfit The Postelles, he’s since ventured out as a solo artist, spending the last year in his home studio writing and producing his next releases.
Continuing to perform and flex his songwriting abilities in other bands, he’s been drumming with the Brooklyn-based bands Dances and Jangula, both formed from the label and collective Jubulee Gang which will be releasing “Something About My Soul” and others tracks penned by Billy Cadden in the coming months.
Now though, he brings us the latest single from his solo project and his first track released this year with the new song “One In Control”. With live shows being difficult to plan and put on these days, he’s been working with a bunch of local artists on artwork and animations to support the release.
With his new song he delivers an energetic and melodic indie rock outing full of uplifting tones and an infectiously catchy chorus. An artist who puts songwriting at the forefront of his work, on “One In Control” he yet again builds on his reputation of crafting worthy alternative rock music.
