Alternative rock artist SamSeb Kierkegaard draws on his influences of different sub cultures such as the hippie movement and the emo/goth scene to create his melodic guitar-driven sound. An artist that displays a rare sense of imagination in his sound, with his music he offers a stunning style of rock full of vivid story-telling and character.
Inspired by darker figures of pop culture, he gravitates towards artists such as David Bowie and My Bloody Valentine and creative visionary Tim Burton as well as the Danish Existentialist philosopher Soren Kierkegaard. A philosophy graduate himself, his lyrics contain deep and meaningful concepts that resonate through his songs which spin dreamy, emotional and quirky soundscapes wrapped up in sophisticated and complex arrangements.
A self-described introverted extrovert, he hopes to offer optimism with his music and the radiance of light to continue for those who are in the midst of despair. His recent single, “Luna: The Invisible Irony” gained him new fans and praise from tastemakers as he builds on his impressive catalogue.
Following that track, he brings us his latest release with the new song titled “Luna: Luna Moonlight”, picking up where the previous single left off. With yet another blistering showcase of expert musicianship, writing and fierce originality, on “Luna: Luna Moonlight” SamSeb Kierkegaard once again shows why he’s a true up-and-coming force in the modern rock scene.
