Swedish songwriter and producer Juliander takes inspiration from artists such as Kanye West, Tyler The Creator, The Weeknd, The 1975 and Bon Iver. Offering powerful and emotive vocal work, his music is full of intimate lyrical writing and stunning melodies that fully immerse the listener in his sonic universe.
Vintage analog synths, punching percussion and organic instrumentation form the core of his sound which spins atmospheric and melancholic journeys. An artist on the rise, he’s toured with Zara Larsson and Alan Walker, recorded music with Noah Cyrus and performed a slot at the coveted Coachella music festival.
He gained success with his debut EP, Afterglow and spent most of 2018 and 2019 touring the world and doing TV and radio performances across Scandinavia. With the pandemic putting a halt on his globe-trotting ambitions, he used the time to focus on creating new music.
Refining his craft and learning more production skills, his new music is driven by his vocals and lyrics carried by melodies living in perfect harmony. His recent track, titled “If I Can’t Have You” showcases the fruit of his efforts.
Released on his own label, his new single is an infectiously catchy synth pop anthem full of rhythm, exceptional vocal delivery and clean production making a track full of commercial appeal. Covering the feeling of preferring to be alone if you can’t spend your life with that one special person, on “If I Can’t Have You”, Juliander makes a statement from an artist with bags of originality and potential.
