Formed in the summer of 2020 at the height of the pandemic, Lunarcode is the alternative rock outfit comprised of guitarist Ronny Minuche, vocalist and lyricist Vincenzo Carubia, and Jason Booth on drums. With a fresh modern sound, they blend elements of classic rock and touches of pop to create hook-driven songs with notes of nostalgia.
The LA-based band burst onto the scene with the debut single “Heartbreak” which gained them instant praise from tastemakers and won them fans all over the world. The single also received recognition in the film festival world for its metaphorical visual art piece of a music video, winning them three awards in India and Sweden.
Despite being a relatively new band, they’re already on the rise with bags of material being released as well as being officially endorsed by Orange Amps. They’ve also recently brought their music to the stage, performing at the iconic LA venue Whiskey A Go-Go.
Now they bring us one of their recent tracks with the single “Parasite”. Produced by Sahaj Ticotin, who has credits with the likes of Starset, Motley Crue, Diamante and many others, the new track is an alt rock anthem with a pop twist. Infectiously catchy and perfectly arranged, it’s yet another stellar release from a band with a lot to offer.
