Baltimore act Red Skies Mourning is a solo artist and multi-instrumentalist who creates exquisite indie rock music. Finding his groove on a musical journey that’s stretched years, not only has he spent time playing in metal, hardcore and rock bands such as Carved In Stone, Erase The Past and Taken by Force and performed at iconic venues all over the world including CBGBs (NYC), Nations (DC) and The Underworld (London), he was also a former US Marine.
With a deep-seated love for rock, pop, rap, hip hop and R&B, he crafts infectiously catchy music full of rhythm and colourful instrumental touches. Pairing delicate songwriting intelligence with his performance swagger, he’s the perfect example of a solo musician offering more than the sum of his parts.
With a full rebrand of his project, he’s been working with Ryan Curtis and Cesar Da Emperor to blend a range of genres on his sound. The first track from the new sessions is the single “Lost Without You”, an utterly charming indie pop song that will stick with listeners for days.
Featuring a bouncy rhythmic structure, a piquant mix of instrumentation and the artist’s smooth yet powerful vocal delivery, “Lost Without You” is the first taste of an artist taking a new direction that’s proving exceptionally fruitful.
