Matyascorvinus‘s musical journey began six years ago when he first read about the ukulele, before he brought one home and began to study the fundamentals of the instrument. He quickly mastered his new instrument and relished the expressive nature of its sound.
Soon after though, he began experimenting and made the switch to a full size guitar and while honing his skills and technique, he cast aside the rule book to follow only his musical intuition in pursuit of the serenity and simplicity in his sonic vision. Contrasting the beauty in his music, his songs are often framed by sorrow and tinged with themes of death metal or gothic imagery.
Spinning a truly original sound, unbound by tradition and refusing to fit into any box, he offers unique music filtered through his own creative lens. With a string of singles already released, he now brings us his latest effort with the new track “Tree Of Life”.
A delicate instrumental arrangement of intricate guitar work, with his latest composition, Matyascorvinus stokes reflection and thought for the listener. For some Tree of life symbolises personal growth, strength and beauty, but for this artist, “a tree symbolises life in general. And now, when there is a war in Europe, the meaning of life and living is being highlighted more than ever. Like the poppy that is the symbol of remembrance of victims of Great War.”
