Alycce is a German producer who creates handmade electronic pop which spreads a lost hope for happy times. Characterised by positively-charged basslines, driving rhythms and syncopated synth sounds, her music offers infectiously catchy writing with modern electronic arrangements.
When she was just seven, Alycce began to learn the saxophone, immediately igniting her passion for music. She went on to study Specialist Music Technology at the Deutsche Pop academy in Cologne. After that, she headed to the London College of Music, University of West London to continue her pursuit of music.
After returning to Cologne due to the pandemic, she’s since released a string of well received singles. Her third single, “What Do You Dream” sees Alycce link up with German vocalist tine on the track, which is also lifted from her debut EP, titled Broken Hearts Club. A song about the feeling of levitating in a relationship while questioning the intentions of your partner, “What Do You Dream” is a synth-based track full of colourful instrumentation and melodic vocal lines.
Commenting on the track, Alycce shares, “‘What Do You Dream’ is about the feeling of levitating in the early stages of a relationship. Whilst you are dreaming when you’re laying in your partner’s arms, you catch yourself wondering if he/she feels the same. The song translates the intimacy in sharing your thoughts and dreams with that person, which is very intense and sensitive, but on the other hand liberating and wonderful.”
