LA native Ruto drops dreamy single “No Repeats”.
A soothing record that feels like one of the classics, filled to the brim with that carefree 60s and 70s hippie sway. This charming melody begins with a sweet laid back guitar riff that falls perfectly in place with the awaiting cool drums. Ruto sings “Another night, another dime for two” whilst trying to find steadiness in a relationship that deals with an individual who experiences anxiety and depression “passing smoke to catch a smile from you”.
Ruto is serious about intertwining the styles of his hometown into assorted and eclectic sounds.
Being musically inclined from an early age, Ruto discovered his identity by incorporating punk, jazz, and soul to create something significant. Ruto spends his time honing in on his craft to further his expertise.
“No Repeats” is bliss but heavy and complicated, a record that shines a light on today’s modern union.
