Hailing from the city of Gothenburg in Sweden, feeble is the indie rock solo project of musician Stefan Ekenberg. Formed in the far northern Swedish region of Luleå, the darkness of the area during winter, contrasted by the prolonged light during summer has had a lasting impact on Ekenburg and influenced his music with feeble.
Over the years he’s played in several bands, cutting his teeth on all the instrument staples of rock music such as guitars and drums as well vocals. Originally, the feeble endeavour was started in the 90s as a trip hop project before disappearing from the music scene between 2010 and 2020.
Following that hiatus, feeble was reborn as an acoustic act and released three notable singles including “Heartland”, “A Few Minutes More” and “What If”. After that, another musical awakening occurred and new influences took hold.
The first track of the band’s new aesthetic was “Time Is Slow” and the artist has recently followed that up with his latest effort and the new single “I Am Here”. Written about the dynamics of a one-sided love relationship and how the unloved tries to win affection by giving space, feeble’s new single is an emotive and delicate piece full of spacey instrumental tones that offers the very best of their accomplished musical journey so far.
