Based in Brooklyn, Darro is an Asian-American artist on the rise. Making a name for himself with his catchy blend of early 2000s emo and pop-punk, mixed with a fresh twist that pushes his sound into new territories, he’s been winning over fans and tastemakers alike since his introduction in 2017.
Following his debut EP, Nostalgia, he suffered a road block from serious health issues but he overcame his struggles and came back swinging, continuing to go from strength to strength with his music. At just 24 years old, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had to undertake a long road of recovery that saw him having to re-learn how to speak and sing, making his artist endeavours even more inspiring and meaningful.
After that, he never looked back and poured his soul into his writing and developing his sound. Now he shares his recent single “All Be Lost”, a modern punk rock anthem full of flowing guitar leads and infectiously catchy vocal work.
With a blend of crunching rock instrumentation paired with cutting edge percussion styles, on “All Be Lost” Darro delivers an upbeat song that’s truly iconic. With a new body of work titled Accidents set to drop later this year, the only way is up for this exciting artist.
