Carley Varley releases “Shore”

Hailing from the city of Bournemouth, UK, artist Carley Varley is fast becoming one the the most exciting breakthrough musicians in the South and a rising star in the UK music scene. Offering a modern pop sound blended with indie elements, her music offers catchy writing with edgier tones driven by her exceptional vocal talents and songwriting panache.

Being passionate about music since a young age, when she was fourteen she began playing guitar and piano as well as starting to write her own original material. While busking in the seaside town of Lymington in 2016, she was picked out and catapulted onto the stages at The Ritz and The Waldorf in London.

Taking influence from the likes of Taylor Swift to Avril Lavigne and Hayley Williams she crafts her own unique sound of bright indie pop that’s both delightful and engaging. With her live performances, she brings her vibrant personality to the stage to deliver joyous moments shared between herself and the audiences she charms.

After releasing her debut EP in 2019 and a string of well-received singles since, she now shares her recent single with the new track “Shore”. Released ahead of her upcoming sophomore EP titled Seasons, “Shore” is a ukulele-driven pop song and the final track on the release.

Featuring her quintessentially endearing writing, beautiful vocal work and a light acoustic arrangement backed by a delicately clapping beat, with “Shore” she spins yet another worthy indie pop piece. Commenting on the release, she shares, “There are many break up songs, I wanted to write about a couple working hard in their relationship and trying to make things work.”
