22 year old singer-songwriter Frankie Bird hails from Reading in the UK and makes her own brand of indie pop and rock music. At age 14 she started writing songs and went on to perform them live at local pubs two years later as she built up her collection of material and honed her performance craft.
Instilling a sense of genuine authenticity into her sound, she spins engaging storytelling lyrics via bright melodies. Frankie’s guitar-based arrangements perfectly compliment her breezy vocal delivery to create music that’s captivating and charming.
In pursuit of her musical dreams she moved to London late last year and has already established herself as a staple of the open mic circuit. Playing slots at iconic venues such as The Fiddler’s Elbow and The Dublin Castle in Camden she brings her compositions to live audiences all over the city.
Hitting the studio earlier this year she started work on her first official release. Dropping last month, her debut single “Younger Dreams” serves as the perfect introduction to Frankie as an artist. Written about how things don’t always work out the way you had planned, “Younger Dreams” is an elegant pop-rock anthem full of catchy leads and relatable lyrics which showcases a promising new artist to watch this year and beyond.
