Hailing from New Jersey, scxtty is an alt-pop artist making his own brand of music. With his sincere vocal work and heart-felt, relatable lyricism, he’s been winning fans over all around the world as he goes from strength to strength as an artist.
Following the release of his well-received dreamy single “Red Camaro”, he’s dropped his latest work with the pop anthem “I Don’t Think You Love Me”. Delivering an upbeat sound with deep reflective lyrics, he covers themes of toxicity in a relationship wrapped up in his infectiously catchy writing.
Crafted to provide comfort and remind us that we’re not alone in our troubles, the song provides solace for those going through similar situations, while soundtracking the realisation that you can overcome hard times by instilling an uplifting message of optimism.
The track was written two years ago at the start of the covid pandemic with scxtty once again working with longtime collaborator Eric Schwartz on mixing and production. Mastered by Zack Odom and Kennith Mount who’s credits include the likes of Mayday Parade, All Time Low, Against The Current, The Ready Set and The Summer Set, on “I Don’t Think You Love Me”, scxtty lays down an instant hit sound and confirms an artist that’s a must-watch going forward.
Commenting on the message behind the single, he shares, “This song really captures the feeling of knowing that someone is in a toxic relationship, but is unable to leave due to being scared of being alone.”
