Ives Electric is the brand new dark wave indie rock act hailing from London. The fresh project of a talented multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, Ives Electric has already been involved in the music industry for several years and now ventures out as a solo artist with his electrifying offering of modern alternative rock music.
After working with several major record labels, it was following a string of studio sessions including the prestigious Abbey Road Studios in London that his introduction as Ives Electric was crafted. The first of three singles to be released, ahead of a debut full-length album, the artist unveils his first song with “Poetry”.
Mastered by industry legend John Davis who has previously worked with superstars such as Led Zeppelin, U2 and Blur and was described by Jimmy Page as “a master of his craft”, the debut single tackles a bittersweet reality; that you should always hold onto your beliefs.
Paired with the single comes the colourful music video which spins rhythmically cut filtered scenes to reflect the edgy tones of the music. With the forthcoming debut album Black Light set to drop int he near future, with “Poetry”, Ives Electric makes an explosive entrance and builds excitement around an artist that’s sure to offer more anthemic modern indie rock this year and beyond.
