Electro Pop from Allegra

London-based artist Allegra has been a rising star in the dance-pop world. After exploding onto the scene with her hit debut single “All About Us”, she broke into the US Billboard Dance charts and climbed to the #2 spot in the UK Music Week Commercial Pop Charts.

Since then she’s been going from strength-to-strength with each new release from her sophomore single “Do What I Want”, an anthem of defiance that saw Allegra exclaim “boxes are meant for breaking” in the opening line, reflecting her ambitions and mission as she made her claim as a must watch artist.

With her latest self-empowerment track “Used To Miss You”, she threw down the best of her sound, brimming with attitude, full of relatable lyrics and wrapped up in infectiously catchy writing. It’s little wonder she was quickly snapped up and signed to Radikal Records and managed by Ten10 Management, while her music has been given the remix treatment by renowned acts such as Majestic and R3HAB.

Now back with her first release of 2022, she brings us her new single, “He Ain’t You”. Establishing her footing and capturing her authentic identity as an artist, with her latest single Allegra makes a departure from her typical dance music roots and shares her maturity on this instantly catchy pop cut.

Delivering a hazy modern pop sound, “He Ain’t You” covers the pains of moving on from a failed relationship before finding someone new, yet still romanticising about those nostalgic memories. Opening up with honest lyricism and vulnerable writing, Allegra offers an intimate view into her artistic vision via a relatable and memorable pop hit.
