Indie Pop from Stephen LaVine

American singer-songwriter Stephen LaVine pours his soul into his music, offering an impassioned sound that’s full of authentic and heartfelt lyricism. Squeezing large existential ideas into small songs, with his music he aims to build a connection with everyone via tunes that are both relatable and captivating.

Having written music since he was just twelve years old, he’s developed his style and multi-instrumental talents over the years. After making his studio introduction in 2020 with his debut EP, Wild Truth, he’s been growing a loyal fan base, eager to feel a deep connection with each new release from the artist.

Now he brings us his latest work with the new single “Midnight Manic Thoughts”, a stunning and atmospheric indie song full of colourful melodic instrumentation and carried by Stephen’s delicate vocal leads. After writing and recording the main parts of the song in his home studio, the artist then sent across the project to his brother and accomplished indie folk artist Thomas LaVine to help build out the song and form it into a cohesive and beautifully arranged composition.

Drawing on the various phases and influences of his years of artistic pursuit, “Midnight Manic Thoughts” is a stream of consciousness style reflection on the growing pains of changing as a person. Blending elements of singer-songwriter and touches of rock, wrapped up in his own unique creative vision, with his latest single Stephen LaVine lays down an elegant and alluring song delivered by an artist with so much to offer.
