Hailing from Brooklyn, singer-songwriter Nathaniel Paul has been releasing music over the last two years. Since his debut single, “Virtues”, he’s been charming fans all around the world with his unique brand of bedroom indie pop.
Taking influence from modern artists such as Mac DeMarco and Tame Impala as well as the timeless music of acts likes The Beach Boys, Wilco and Dave Matthews Band, Nathaniel Paul offers an original style of lo-fi guitar and synth-based music.
After releasing his debut album Learning To Listen last year, he’s gearing up to drop the follow up record with Turpentine later this summer. Lifted from the new LP comes the artist’s latest single, titled “Just Memories”.
Written about exploring bad decisions, the difficulties they cause and the reflections we have with the power of hindsight, “Just Memories” showcases the very best of Nathaniel Paul’s delicate indie rock sound. Full of colourful guitar touches, sweeping rhythm and the artist’s graceful vocal work, his latest single builds further excitement around his upcoming release.
