Oneo Fakind drop new EP

Oneo Fakind drops a new EP Life in the Background

This three-track project comes after consecutively releasing three singles in the first quarter of 22, the last being “I Don’t Getcha”.

Life In The Background is also their first album in two years, also being their fifth body of work to date, there is no stopping Oneo.

These three tracks are all gold and they have a different feel. The title track song “Life In The Background” opens the EP well, it’s bright and it just feels good. The production is spacey but still solid, grasping ascents throughout. Prismatic that’s the word.

“Crazed Philosophers” the second number is transcending. Synthy, trippy, and gripping to say the least. The first quarter ends and dives right into what feels like an 80s riveting trip, with amazing drums also.

The last tune “The residue of your voice is like a mouth filled with rotten moths” is beautiful. It feels like the alternative indie artisty track of the EP because the drums are a lot heavier and the production feels a lot more open and direct than the other compositions.

Matt and Brett are the incredible duo that put this all together. Hailing from Toronto, Canada. The pair certainly know what they’re doing with the electronic sound. They have released quite a few projects within the past five to six years constantly experimenting and taking a full plunge to create an eclectic sound.

Life In The Background is truly not a project you want to miss. Ambient soundscapes, electronic alternative heaven, distinct.
