Visen drop “Rhythm”

The husband-and-wife duo release a warming new single “Rhythm”. They have a clear message of love and it’s clear to hear. Cecil, the guitarist of the group covers the folky tune in touching chords throughout the melody. To put it quite simply “Rhythm” feels like a Sunday morning. The transition of the guitar ascents during the bridge is graceful.

It’s a non-skip single. Ari, the singer of the group has soft, delicate yet powerful vocals that work beautifully with Cecil’s ardent guitar riffs.

Visen began their musical endeavour during their senior year at college and it makes sense, both of these individuals are musically inclined. Ari, had a Danish upbringing, which left her planted in folk songs and oral traditions, the influence can defiantly be found in Visen’s records across the board.

Cecil was listening to the ever-talented Jimi Hendrix no explanation needed, and the melodic Wes Montgomery. All of that leaves you a whole heap of talent, both their musical backgrounds lead them to having a great comprehension of how to create an incredible fusion each and every time.

Cecil has a loyal following on social media and has been an active contributor to both jazzguitartoday and premiere guitar, NPR marked him as syncopated, it seems like Cecil is within the music world which is bound to keep the inspiration high.
