Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Nick Antonelli is the quintessential folk singer-songwriter who captures the very essence of what the genre is meant to be. With his profound lyricism and delicate arrangements, he spins captivating sonic stories that have you hanging onto every word.
Drawing on his expansive life experience, he offers a mature and observational sound that touches on themes of issues in society and a yearning to escape midwestern life. While not offering explicit advice or commands to his listeners, he rather crafts thoughtful musings that strive to help those who are struggling, angry, disenchanted and those who are searching to be empowered by their own voice.
Having just released his debut album, titled To Get To Here, he’s made his artistic introduction and outlined his stunning creative vision. Lifted from the album comes the second single, “Time In The Sun”, and upbeat sing-a-long Americana style song written about growing and moving on from chaos.
Laying down a stomping rhythm and an intricate fiddle-led backing, with “Time In The Sun”, Nick Antonelli delivers a charming and timeless indie folk piece. Full of colourful melodies and an uplifting joyous sound, with his new single the artist offers a truly memorable taste of his work from a worthy debut album.
