Hailing from the East Cost, rock and roll outfit Annie Minogue Band is formed by frontwoman and Annie Minogue, drummer Nick Saya, Nunzio Signore on guitar and vocals, bass player Brian Karp and Dave Archer on keys. Together they make their own brand of energising rock music that incorporates a bluesy sound with tinges of upbeat pop.
Led by the charismatic singer Annie Minogue, from which the group takes its name, Annie has been involved in music her whole life. Raised by her professional musician father in New York City, she was always surrounded by music, instilling a sense of passion for the sonic arts from an early age.
Since their debut album in 2006, Tripping The Velvet, the band has brought their music to live audiences all over the USA, sharing the stage with a plethora of rock legends such as David Lee Roth, Christ Whitley, The Smithereens and Dave Navarro as well as playing a headline slot at Texas State Fair.
With an achievements list that’s equally extensive, Annie Minogue Band has received recognition by an almost endless list of awards and accolades. Over the years they’ve won a Telly Award, National Artist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Top Music Artist, ASCAP Popular Music Award, last year’s WSA Best Rock Song and more.
Now gearing up to release their sophomore record Suburbia via Wolf Entertainment Group Label, they bring us the second single from the upcoming album with “Real Close Up”.
Following the lead single “Sandbox” which went straight to #1 on the World Indie Charts, with their latest track they lay down an instantly catchy and grooving rock sound full of rhythm and swaggering vocals. Delivering the very best of their sound, their latest single features engaging melodic leads and intricate guitar work to make “Real Close Up” a bouncy modern rock anthem from a band at the top of their game.
