It’s a Friday night and you’ve just finished for the weekend, glass of red in hand, work clothes spiralled across the floor and Veronica Hanls new track “Dancing in Nylon” is playing through your Alexa.
Award-winning Austrian composer and producer Veronica Hanl and vocalist and songwriter Julia Romana have collaborated on their new track “Dancing in Nylon” The airy and euphoric instrumental composed by Vernoika complements Julia’s sultry vocals makes a captivating hit for the alt-pop scene. Veronica envisioned to create music that people can dance to. The music video stars and is choreographed by Jenny Stone, a single dancer celestially moving in one motion. When Veronica sent the instrumental to Julia she envisioned “A women, euphorically spinning around in a room carefree, feeling really good and sexy in her body”.
In the first intimate moments of the instrumental Veronica used basic chords on her piano and used drum and guitar loops she had recorded in the studio, both artists had their own creative control whilst also complementing each other’s music.
The duo have also worked together on Veronika’s most recent single “Where Do We Go” with musician and vocalist David Era. For the recording of the instruments, Veronika decided to collaborate with different musicians. The piano was recorded with Tom Addison, a producer based in London, and the drums were recorded with Alexandra Lanicelli, who also did the production of the drums.
