Hailing from Austin, Texas, Abbi Press is a singer-songwriter and producer making spacey synthwave pop music. Taking influence from a diverse array of different genres, she crafts her own style of colourful sonic worlds which have struck a chord with fans and tastemakers alike, racking up hundreds of thousands of streams of her music.
Along the way she’s clocked several highlights during her exciting music career including releasing music via the Cascine imprint, dropping her single “Totality” exclusively with Urban Outfitters and seeing her hit “Begin Again” being listed on Spotify’s Fresh Finds and Canada Viral 50 playlists.
Bringing her music to life on stage, she’s also performed with Flamingosis, Mark Redito, L’Rain, Quiet Friend and Yaeji, while also choreographing the latter’s “Raingirl” music video.
Earlier this year Abbi Press dropped her recent single “Guilty Conscience” via Abacus Press and now returns with a follow up and new single titled “Moonlight”. Offering the very best of her bright and melodic synth pop sound, with “Moonlight” Abbi Press lays down a vibrant blend of danceable R&B and indie pop lifted by her floating vocal work to create an instantly catchy sound.
With more music set to drop later this year, the artist continues to go from strength-to-strength with each new move and confirms her status as a must-watch artist in the indie pop scene.
