Hailing from Los Angeles, California, The Loud Bangs is a four-piece rock group that formed in the summer of last year. Brought together by a shared love of shoegaze, 90s alternative music and German club sound, the band is comprised of vocalists and guitarists Alice Street and Daisy Gutierrez, Hannah Redley on bass and keys and completed by drummer Marcus Nemuro.
Together they lay down their own unique grungey alternative rock sound often full of grooving rhythm, atmospheric sonic textures and droning tones. Despite officially making their introduction only a year ago, they’ve proved to be a prolific act already with a wildly creative sonic vision and truly impressive output.
The Loud Bangs have already released three 5-track EPs this year alone, as well as a bunch of remix EPs and music videos. As they’re preparing to drop their debut full-length release with the album Future Plaza, they bring us their latest work with the brand new EP titled The Alice Experience.
Working with producer Darren Callahan, the band capture their raw energy on their latest EP that sees dual vocals and guitars from Alice Street and Daisy Gutierrez offer a gritty and abstract framing of their sound, driven by the rhythms of Hannah Remley and Marcus Nemuro.
Across the five tracks on The Alice Experience, they craft a stunning musical journey that bends from the ethereal to the anthemic on a release that sees a new band at the top of their game continue going from strength-to-strength as they deliver their entirely original sound.
