Founded by Philadelphia-based musician Antonio G, ZADAR is a guitar-driven project making modern dark wave music. Working as a solo artist with frequent collaborators such as vocalist and guitarist Isa Nielsen and producer James Sinclair-Stott, Antonio lays down vocals, guitar, bass and drum machine on the tracks.
Taking influence from the likes of The Sisters Of Mercy, The Cure, Anything Box, New Order and Interpol, he unveiled the project in 2020 with the debut single “Alien Being”. Dropping a string of singles over the last two years, he’s earned extensive radio support and caught the attention of fans and tastemakers alike.
Now currently looking for other musicians to join him for live performances, he brings us his latest single with the track titled “Halos On The Moon”. On his new song, ZADAR links up with Isa Nielsen on guitar and vocals, who’s previously played on MTV Specials, MTV VMB Awards and at several festivals including opening the Best of Blues festival for Marilyn Manson guitarist John 5 and headliner Tom Morello.
Perfectly capturing his dark post-punk writing, balanced with bright guitar tones, on “Halos On The Moon” ZADAR delivers a stunning collaborative track with Isa Nielsen. Full of punchy drums, retro rock vibes and memorable vocal leads, ZADAR’s latest single showcases an exciting project on the rise.
