Born and raised on the island of Reunion near Madagascar, producer NASAYA makes electronic music drawing influence from artists such as Jamie xx, Tame Impala, Flume and Michael Jackson.
Having earned a scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College Of Music when he was just sixteen years old he started his sonic path as a session guitarist and embarked on tour with several different artists including playing with Grammy winning Jacob Collier.
Venturing out as a solo artist under the NASAYA moniker, he caught the attention of listeners straight away, signing his first three singles to Majestic Casual. Dropping a string of hit releases since 2017 and racking up tens of millions of streams along the way, he now brings us his latest release with his sophomore EP titled RÊVES.
Released via the Foreign Family Collective imprint, NASAYA’s new EP features four tracks that showcase why he’s become a must watch act in the electronic music space. Packed full of energising polyrhythms, lively breakbeats, spliced vocal samples and his assured command of synths, across his new EP he spins a captivating listening experience.
As he continues to deliver his stunning sonic vision, RÊVES is the latest instalment in his flawless catalogue of downtempo dance music on an EP that delights from start to finish.
