Based in London, Richard Green is an Italian musician and composer who started his sonic adventure at the age of twelve when he began learning the guitar at school. Going on to master his chosen instrument, he moved to London in 2012 where he earned a higher diploma as a guitarist and a degree as a musician.
Making his introduction with his own original material, in 2020 he released his debut single with “Dark Horses”. Followed by a further three singles, he dropped his first EP titled Color and Sound in August 2021, constantly venturing into new sonic territories ranging from electro pop styles to classical music.
Sharing a string of well-received tracks since then, he’s recently released his sophomore EP and brings us the five-track release, A journey. Composing for piano and string arrangements, with his new EP he crafts pieces that blend the traditional disciplines of classical music with contemporary aesthetics including blues, jazz and even touches of rock and pop, to make an entirely original and engaging body of work.
His first major foray into collaborating with other artists on his music, on A journey Richard Green enlisted the award winning piano virtuoso Irene Veneziano and the string quartet known as Archimia to join him in performance.
Across A journey, Richard Green delivers another compositional masterclass and demonstrates the depth of his creativity and versatility of his sonic vision with a dazzling release in a completely new style from the rest of his equally impressive catalogue of music.
