Artist Ophelia originally studied music and mathematics, with a focus on artificial intelligence which has led to a celebrated sonic journey that’s taken her across the USA from Boston, New York, San Francisco and now to Los Angeles. Trained as a jazz pianist at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, she’s now a successful artist and heads up her own Hollywood-based label and music company, 27 Club.
Drawing on her traditional music training, she pairs her forward-thinking and innovative approach to production to become a rising force in the electronic dance music scene. Always thinking outside the box and pushing the boundaries of her own sound, she’s earned a reputation as a truly original DJ and producer in a constant state of musical evolution.
Over the last few years she’s been unveiling her unique sonic vision with a string of well-received tracks and remixes, now she brings us her latest release with her new single titled “Tracen”. Dropping a mesmerising groove with a pulsing bass line and deep electronic textures that build a dark energy, with her new track Ophelia spins a techno-style soundscape that transports listeners to a trance-like musical world.
Driven by a punching beat and peppered with intricate and piquant tones, with “Tracen” Ophelia shows a new side to her sound on an immersive and moody dance track that showcases her talent as a producer and knack for creating enveloping electronic music.
