Virtual artist MollyNFT drops EP

MollyNFT is a pioneering Web3 ecosystem project that’s at the crux of ushering in the new age that sees the relationship between technology and art intertwined in exciting and innovative ways. Described by their creator, “the project is a new creative moment revolutionising 3D NFT art, modernising and pioneering the first ever NFT backed virtual DJ; one of the main elements that has drawn us to this project, is we are trying to bring the metaverses to real life rather than real life into the digital metaverses.”

Coming off the back of the rapid rise of NFTs over the last few years, Non-Fungible Tokens have managed to become embedded into every walk of life and MollyNFT is spearheading the movement in the music industry. Founded in 2022, MollyNFT takes influence from artists such as Stephan Bodzin and Anyma as well as the virtual wonderland Sensorium XR and is championing the role of virtual artists in the music space while paving the way for the future of 3D concept visuals.

Releasing the debut single “Akrakia” last month, MollyNFT now brings us their latest release with the two-track EP titled Lost in the Mind. With the creator stating the EP is a “journey through a virtual world dedicated to music within the vast digital metaverse,” the release is the next instalment in the groundbreaking creative endeavour.

Featuring the pulsating beat-driven sound of synth based electronica on the title track “Lost in the Mind” and the spacey energy and bouncy rhythms of b-side “Geneity”, with the EP Molly NFT delivers a watershed release that’s set to redefine how we perceive art in the dance music world and beyond. A captivating electronic sound in its own right, the story and work behind the project just makes it that much more extraordinary.
